REMEMBER THE OLD GRANGE…   it was once a school

The old school, which later became a Grange Hall, was torn down after I moved here and used to be where the Summit Place housing area is now.  The above picture is of a model that someone made of the old building. We have it on display at the museum and the bell that used to be in the bell tower is sitting next to it.  We let the children ring the bell when they visit the museum.  It’s fun to remember what used to be here in our town.

What is your favorite place that isn’t here anymore?

What else would you like to see pictures of that used to be part of our home town?

For example:   Remember the Sterling Bank where the Medical Clinic is now?  I don’t know about anyone else, but that clocked helped us know if we were late leaving for work or not. I miss the clock– don’t you?
