McCleary Museum & Heritage Center Vision Stamement

The vision of the McCleary Historical Society shall be to preserve McCleary-area history and to support community cultural programs. To fulfill that role, the Society shall maintain the historic church building at 3rd & Oak Streets in McCleary as a museum and as a community center, to be known as the McCleary Museum & Heritage Center. As the McCleary Museum, the Society will acquire and preserve artifacts, photos and other illustrations, correspondence, reports and other documents that relate to the origin and development of the city, its government, businesses, organizations and people. In its role as the Heritage Center, the Society will undertake activities that will enrich the life of the community, attract visitors to the area and maintain the economic vitality of the community.  The Society will coordinate with government and civic bodies, public and private corporations, associations and individuals who share the common goal of community growth and historic preservation.
