Reggie Garrett & Christine Gunn

Reggie Garrett & Christine Gunn are a musical duo of unparalleled emotion and virtuosity.  Reggie’s lyricism in his explorations of the variety and subtlety of human experience are supported and propelled into flight by Christine’s dynamic and sensuous musicality.

Reggie has performed throughout the U.S. and Canada for a number of years, both solo and with his band Reggie Garrett & the Snake Oil Peddlers.  His 2023 album release, “York’s Lament & other stories”, climbed to #5 on national Folk radio charts.  Also, “Stagecoach Mary” reached #12 and “So Far Away” topped at #3 (both songs from that album).

Christine has performed widely as a solo artist, creating richly layered musical tapestries with her looping pedal.  She is a founding member of Trillian Green, and has performed as an accompanist to hundreds of bands, orchestras, musical theaters and singer-songwriters, both live and recorded.

Celebrating 100 Years of the McCleary Museum and Event Center Building

A Centennial Celebration

Exactly a century ago, in April 1926, this landmark building was dedicated to Ada L. McCleary, the wife of our town’s founder. Since that day, these walls have stood as a silent witness to the growth, challenges, and triumphs of our community. From its decades as a spiritual sanctuary to its current role as the guardian of our local heritage, this building remains the soul of McCleary.

Join us in celebrating history with a short program and refreshments.

From Swamp to Sea with the Coastal Interpretive Center

From Swamp to Sea : Bridging the Wild Landscapes of North America

Join Becky Stitt of the Coastal Interpretive Center for an informal, heartfelt talk on the ecological threads that connect the continent’s most iconic wild places.

While the lush Florida Everglades, the dark-water mysteries of the Okefenokee Swamp, and the ancient Southern Appalachians may seem worlds apart, they are woven together by the same fundamental rhythms of nature. Becky Stitt has spent her career following these threads, and now she brings her journey full circle to the Olympic Peninsula.

In this presentation, Becky explores the universal language of the wild and how these distant landscapes mirror the beauty and fragility of our own Pacific Coast. This session is more than a map of her travels—it is a celebration of the Coastal Interpretive Center’s work right here in Grays Harbor County.

Whether you are a lifelong resident of the Washington coast or a fellow traveler, come discover how the “swamp” and the “sea” are closer than you think.

A special thanks to Ocean Shores | Coastal Interpretive Center for sharing this wonderful, all ages program with us.

What does “Admission by donation” mean?
When an event cost is listed as “admission by donation” we ask that you make a donation that you are comfortable with in order to attend.  We want our community to be able to attend events but also understand that there are times where funds may be tight and you just don’t have more than a few dollars to spare.  Our events range in costs to our organization so whatever you are able to contribute goes towards paying for the performance and future events.  If you have an event that you want to attend but are concerned about cost, please reach out to us.

Are you Wheelchair accessible?
Yes!  We have multiple disabled parking spots, ramps and one ADA bathroom.  Our event center seating is bench seating but we can easily accommodate you and your party. Reach out if you have any questions or if you need to request help ahead of time.

We are working to add more events for you to enjoy.  Check back often and follow us on social media for updates to our event schedule.
