As a local nonprofit, our mission is simple: to make affordable, local access to diverse cultural, historical, and artistic programs a reality for everyone in McCleary and beyond. The Event Center at the McCleary Museum is a welcoming space where families gather for live music, students attend educational programs, and neighbors come together to celebrate and learn. In addition to our youth and adult programming, we offer our versatile event center spaces for community use via a donation-based rental. Whether you are hosting a meeting, a workshop, or a private gathering, we invite you to celebrate your milestones within our historic walls.

Our facility is a non-profit venue maintained by volunteers. Instead of fixed rates, we offer our space by donation. When planning your gift, please remember that your donations help us pay utility bills and keep this historic building open for everyone to enjoy.

Booking Information

  • Reservations: We schedule events on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Agreement and Cost: All renters must sign a standard use agreement contract with a refundable damage deposit. Rental is by donation. No alcohol permitted.

We offer two main rooms and a kitchen area to make your event a success. Our building features beautiful vaulted ceilings, original stained glass, and excellent acoustics for live music or speaking.

The Main Room

This large, open space is ideal for performances and ceremonies. Seats 84+ comfortably. It includes:

  • Performance Stage: Equipped with a professional sound system and stage lighting.

  • Seating Options: 14 moveable pews, 48 padded folding chairs, and 12 folding tables.

  • Instruments: A spinet piano and two functioning antique pump organs.

  • Media: A full projection system for movies or presentations.

  • Comfort: Brand new heating and air conditioning (HVAC) units.

Our kitchen is available for warming and refrigeration (not for full meal prep).

  • Restrooms: Two bathrooms are available, including one that is ADA accessible
